Introduction

I have set up this site as a means to share my photographs of lighthouses. Since retiring and finding more time to study photography, my interests have expanded a little. I sincerely hope you enjoy my efforts and use my site not only for information and education but also to provide directions for many enjoyable, inspirational visits to the beacons along our beautiful coas.

Now that we have completed our journey down the Maine coast visiting as many lighthouses as we can, I thought that my blog would benefit from a "Maine Lighthouse Index" where visitors could access any lighthouse of their choice. Following is just that. All you have to do is click on the title of the photo of the lighthouse you would like to visit and you will be taken there where you will find photos, videos, history and directions to that location. I sincerely hope you find my site helpful and that you enjoy your visit. The lighthouses are listed in order from the most northeastern, including those on Campobello Island, and ending just across the southern border in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
